During the Odekhoa Akhume Okaisabor Memorial Lecture held in 2009 and 2010, over 100 widows benefited from the entrepreneurial sensitization and awareness creation conducted by the representatives of SMEDAN. Out of this number, needs assessment was conducted on 60 widows while the Foundation sponsored the vocational training of ten widows of cake-making and two on tailoring.
